Quality Control Inspector

About The Position
Responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the production process. This role performs in-process and final inspections, conducts tests and measurements, and verifies compliance with company specifications, customer requirements, and applicable industry standards. The inspector identifies defects, documents findings, supports root cause analysis, and works closely with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years' experience in the sign industry or in a similar manufacturing environment floor or in engineering
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical and mechanical, prints and schematics
- Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English/Spanish
Responsibilities
- Review graphics for conformance to prints
- Examine finished products against graphics to ensure products meet customer, company and industry standards
- Perform visual inspections and measurement tests of products
- Work with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Suggest process improvements to enhance quality
- Record inspection results and test data
- Prepare quality reports and non-conformance reports
- Maintain inspection logs and quality records
- Confirm all customer specifications are adhered to
- Check that only materials on the product BOM have been used
- Assure safe and adequate packaging is provided for all products
- View illuminated signage in dark room conditions
