About The Position

Inspect parts, products and/or processes to insure conformance with standards. Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and defects. Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly. Verifies specified dimensions on product or material by performing the following duties.

Requirements

High School degree or G.E.D. and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to talk or hear.
Ability to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
