Requirements

• Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret measurement data accurately
• Extensive experience with quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, CGMP, HACCP, and quality management principles
• Proficiency in using Calypso software for data collection and analysis in quality control processes
• Familiarity with conducting quality audits and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) effectively
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for clear documentation and reporting

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
• Utilize advanced quality management tools like Calypso, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CGMP standards to monitor compliance throughout the manufacturing process
• Perform detailed quality audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to FDA regulations and HACCP protocols
• Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for reporting and process adjustments
• Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for precise dimensional analysis of complex parts
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues swiftly and implement corrective actions
• Support the development and maintenance of quality systems that enhance overall product reliability and safety
