About The Position

Responsibilities: Develops and implements testing, sampling and inspection procedures on raw materials, equipment, in-process materials, and/or finished products to ensure that product specifications and company and regulatory requirements are met. Investigates and troubleshoots functionality and performance problems. Recommends corrective action when appropriate. May monitor and execute on-site equipment and tools calibration. Job Requirements: Qualifications: GED, or equivalent education or 5 years experience as a QC Inspector. Basic Knowledge and understanding of metrology. Able to read and comprehend blue prints, policies and procedures in order to inspect products. Basic computer skills, including basic use of Microsoft Office suite software and SAP, or equivalent software. Prior work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, 821). Experienced understanding and working with a device history record. Experienced Idenfication, Handling, Documenting, Controlling of Nonconforming product. Investigation and Audit experience e.g., root cause analysis preferred. Must be able to communicate well, both written and verbal, in English as individual will be reading analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures and drawings. Additionally, inspector will occasionally be asked to assist in drafting reports and business correspondence for review and use by supervisor and/or Nobel Biocare Management, and effectively present information and respond to questions from management, peers and other colleagues. While performing duties of this job, inspector may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Inspector will work both individually and in teams in various areas e.g., machine shop, clean room and/or office environment.
