As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a direct role in ensuring that every part and assembly meets exact specifications before reaching our customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting precision-manufactured parts
  • Experience in a precision machine shop environment (milling, turning, grinding, EDM, assembly)
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, SOPs, work instructions, and corrective action processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid shop math skills

Responsibilities

  • Inspect precision-machined components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform in-process and final inspections
  • Inspect assemblies to verify accuracy and conformance
  • Program and operate CMM equipment for in-house and supplier-manufactured products
  • Use precision inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, bore gages, gage blocks, and optical comparators
  • Interpret complex blueprints and apply GD&T standards
  • Document inspection results and nonconformities
  • Identify and remove nonconforming product from production flow until properly dispositioned
  • Maintain quality documentation and traceability records
  • Prioritize workload based on production schedules
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain teams
  • Support corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives
