About The Position

Summary: Perform precise inspections and measurements to verify materials, components, and products meet specifications. Collaborate across the business to deliver exceptional quality, supporting production and engineering teams in driving continuous improvement and ensuring total customer satisfaction. What You Will Do: Technical Skills Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures. Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, hardness testers, surface testers, CMM). Operate PC-based systems for documentation and traceability. Inspection & Verification Inspect raw materials, mechanical and electrical components, and finished good product for conformance to specifications. Perform Firewall and Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) inspections and record results accurately. Visually inspect assemblies and components for defects and compliance. Documentation & Reporting Document non-conformances and communicate findings to the Quality Engineer. Maintain accurate inspection records in the quality system. Assist in preparing data for audits and quality reports. Support Activities Work closely with Quality Engineer, production and engineering to resolve quality issues. Assist in training operators on proper measurement techniques. Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment. Compliance & Safety Support quality system requirements, including traceability and supplier certification audits as outlined by the Quality Management System. Follow all safety policies and procedures. All other duties as assigned What We Are Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. 1–3 years of experience in inspection or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Ability to use precision measurement tools. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation. Strong attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills across departments and variety of personalities; ability to maintain positive working relationships. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ISO 9001 and previous auditing experience. Familiarity with electronic, mechanical, and fabricated components. Requirements
