About The Position

In this role, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to become an expert in assessing and inspecting inbound and stored products while maintaining our high standards for quality and consistency. You will collaborate closely with our Quality Control (QC) team, develop your knowledge, skills, and efficiency, and play a key role in reducing product shrink. Requirements

  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software programs
  • Must be able to distinguish colors for grading produce and have keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively, plan, prioritize, and make sound decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of produce operations experience preferred
  • Ideally, knowledge of Four Seasons Produce, Inc. operations

Responsibilities

  • Through on-the-job training, learn how to properly assess and inspect inbound and/or stored product according to Four Seasons Produce, Inc. procedures and methods
  • Communicate effectively with internal business partners to provide information needed to make good business decisions and maintain the company's standards for quality and consistency
  • Build knowledge of how to reduce product shrink through proper education, training and accountability
  • Work collaboratively with QC staff to learn and support departmental goals and maintain high quality standards for both internal and external customers
  • Successfully complete all required knowledge and skill assessments
  • Demonstrate consistent growth in knowledge, skills, efficiencies, and quality of work
  • Operate equipment safely, follow safe work practices, maintain a safe work area, and adhere to food safety policies
