About The Position

At Crusoe, we move fast and we build things. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Coordinator to join our manufacturing team in Tulsa. This role is the backbone of our quality assurance process, ensuring that every piece of equipment we build is backed by accurate, accessible, and perfectly organized technical documentation. You will be responsible for the "final mile" of the quality process—gathering, digitizing, and managing the critical test records that verify our products meet Crusoe’s high standards. This is a full-time position located in our manufacturing facility. (#INDMFG)

Requirements

  • Exceptional Organization: A natural knack for order and a high degree of data integrity with an interest in transforming physical records into a streamlined digital database.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficient in Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs) and experience using high-volume scanning equipment and document management software.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to spot missing signatures or incorrect serial numbers before a document is archived.
  • Communication: Clear and proactive communication skills to coordinate with technicians, team leads, and quality managers to track down missing paperwork.
  • Reliability: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines to keep production moving.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand and walk throughout a manufacturing facility to collect documentation and sit for extended periods for data entry. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (e.g., boxes of records or paper).
  • Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a quality control, document control, or administrative role within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Familiarity with specific technical documentation standards used in electrical or mechanical manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Document Management: Act as the central point of contact for gathering all finished paperwork and certification records once testing and inspections are completed on the production floor.
  • Digital Archiving & Workflow: Scan and upload all physical documents into Google Drive, ensuring information is filed accurately within the correct folder structures.
  • Data Organization & Indexing: Maintain meticulous records by indexing documents based on specific serial numbers, internal components, and project codes for easy retrieval.
  • Production Support: Prepare and print essential documentation for the assembly and testing teams, including engineering prints, test procedures, and quality checklists.
  • Audit Readiness: Ensure that all quality folders are up-to-date and complete, supporting internal and external audits of our manufacturing processes.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Quality and Production teams to streamline the flow of paperwork from the shop floor to the digital archive.
