The Quality Control Coordinator is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by coordinating, documenting, and reporting quality activities for the Project.
Participate in the preparation of Project Quality Management System documents.
Ensure quality documentation and required records for the Project are accurate and up to date.
Assist in field verification activities for materials and works performed using the company’s tracking software.
Assist in ensuring that quality requirements are implemented by subcontractors.
Compile comprehensive reports detailing quality performance, highlighting trends, and suggesting corrective actions and lessons learn.
Collaborate in the digitization of quality records.
Conduct training activities on the quality management system for the project team.
Participate in audits carried out on the Project Quality Management System.
Oversee and perform site inspections and enforcement of standards
Monitor, verify and generate daily reports on the progress and performance of contractor activities.
Maintaining an active role in providing relevant information to continually improve procedures, Work Plans, and QC efforts.
Performing the off‐site quality inspections at the Owners/suppliers/manufacturer’s yard/shop as needed.
Participating in the analysis of corrective and preventive actions and, in general, identifying and recording any incidents related to the Quality Plans and Quality Procedures.
Reporting quality issues associated with the construction and track deficiencies/non‐conformances.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc.
Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.

At a minimum, the Quality Control Coordinator must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field of study along with 3+ years of related quality experience or high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 7+ years of related quality experience.
The Quality Control Coordinator must also have a valid and current driver’s license.
Knowledge and experience in the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard on Quality Management System is required.
Experience working with Design-Build projects and/or the construction industry is preferred.
Experience in implementing quality management and quality control digital tools will be valued.
