About The Position

The Quality Line Auditor performs in-line quality audits on scheduled jobs (Extrusion, Injection, Fabrication, etc.) in accordance with established procedures and guidelines per the customer’s specific part requirements. Assist with receiving inspections and help maintain the quality management system.

Requirements

  • ISO 9001 experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Prefer previous experience in the quality control field
  • Basic computer skills required (copy/paste/insert bullets/change font color, etc.).
  • Must know how to measure
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to product quality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Confident identifying and addressing quality concerns
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage documentation accurately
  • Motivated to work independently while collaborating with production and quality teams

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-line quality audit inspection on parts during production run.
  • Report out-of-spec conditions to the department Supervisor and the Lead Quality Line Auditor.
  • Place suspect or nonconforming parts on hold Record on NCM log.
  • Ensure parts are labeled correctly
  • Ensure part disposition (scanning) is conducted in a timely manner.
  • Manage completed job packets.
  • Establish/Maintain part samples (1st part/last part) from each production run.
  • Ensure that the Quality Management System requirements are met.
  • Other duties as assigned Works with minimal supervision.
  • Issues and concerns need to be communicated to Lead Quality Line Auditor.
