About The Position

We make an extraordinary product. Some might say it defies gravity! As our Quality Control Associate, you’ll be our end-of-the line gatekeeper, ultimately processing and crating our units before they head out the door to their new owners. You’ll ensure all products are crafted with the utmost quality by: Placing product and safety decals accurately on the units and ensuring cables are in the correct location and identified properly Cleaning and inspecting the unit using overhead hoists as well as various hand and power tools Anticipating needed parts such as hardware or printouts required to complete the unit and communicating those needs to the Supervisor Completing standard production and quality forms as needed Working closely with other quality team members such as our Inspectors and Technicians to maintain overall quality team standards for our product Following standard operating procedures and stay within job safety parameters

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Be mechanically inclined
  • Must have a strong attention to detail
  • Possess conceptual, process improvement, functional, and technical skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Possess quality focus, sound judgment, and decision-making
  • Ability to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation: Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and products weighing up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds occasionally
  • Stand or walk for extended periods (8-12-hour shifts) on concrete or other hard surfaces
  • Perform frequent repetitive motions such as bending, twisting, reaching, and gripping
  • Use hands and fingers to handle small parts, operate tools or controls, and assemble products with precision
  • Visually inspect products for defects, labels, or measurements
  • Distinguish sounds such as machinery alarms, beeps, or spoken instructions in a noisy environment
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear

Nice To Haves

  • Be forklift certified
  • Experience using electric pallet jackets
  • One year of material handling experience
  • Experience using an ERP system, such as Oracle
  • Experience working in a manufacturing warehouse environment

Responsibilities
