About The Position

Assist the SVP and VP of Consumer Lending in all aspects of lending throughout all parts of the organization in accordance with policies, goals, and established objectives. Ensure that all loan policies and underwriting guidelines are followed and consistent quality loan decisions are made on loan requests not exceeding assigned loan limits.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Marketing, Finance, or Business combined with 1-3 years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and hands-on experience.
• A current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver loan and sales related training to improve loan officer/MSR’s underwriting skills.
• Meet regularly with branches to ensure quality underwriting.
• Assists in the management of all loan promotions in cooperation with operations and marketing. This includes the collection of data needed to track all results.
• Assuring all lending processes are efficient, both from a member service and sales perspective.
• Serve as an escalation point for issues and inquires relating to loan decisions and problem resolutions.
