Quality CMM Programmer and Lead Inspector
About The Position
All Service Plastic Molding (ASPM), a member of The Minco Group, is seeking a Quality CMM Programmer and Lead Inspector to join their high-volume manufacturing team. In this critical role, the individual will be responsible for ensuring product quality, making sure every component meets the highest industry standards and customer expectations. This is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt position reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
Requirements
- 3 years of CMM programming and dimensional inspection experience, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Expert knowledge of QA/QC principles and a strong ability to interpret complex technical documents.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and the leadership skills to guide a quality-focused team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using Zeiss equipment and software.
Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and maintain advanced CMM programs for in-process inspections and tool approvals.
- Manage gage approvals (Gage R&R, MSA) and mentor our Lab Inspectors to sharpen their skills.
- Collaborate directly with engineering to develop custom workholding and fixtures that ensure flawless measurement repeatability.
- Investigate dimensional issues and partner with production teams to continuously enhance product quality.
- Perform hands-on quality inspections on various plastic parts and components.
