About The Position

The Quality Chemist Internship is responsible for performing the necessary inspection activities to ensure that products meet specified requirements in a chemical production facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a chemical laboratory
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, SAP, etc.
• Basic understanding of chemical processing
• Proficient with laboratory and measuring & test equipment
• Basic understanding of departmental procedures and work instructions, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support departmental goals and objectives
• Test incoming raw materials and finished goods
• Conduct tests on in-process materials from compounding department
• Inspect and test purchased chemicals
• Inspect return goods as required
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in work areas
• Special projects, as assigned
