About The Position

Responsible for operating pressing equipment and manufacturing parts according to company procedures and customer requirements. Duties and tasks include but are not limited to: Ensure all testing of mixes has been performed and documented in SQC pack Ensure all testing of final product (grind sonic, dimensional, compressions, shears, densities) are completed according to the control plans. Ensure to complete roving audits throughout shift. Complete final inspections at final assembly. Ensure input of inspection data is completed by production personnel. Analyze SPC pack data for any nonconformities and trends. Participate in any EPS activities for nonconforming issues at the customer. Participate in APQP, PPAPs, Control Plans, PFMEAs, SPC and all other quality related matters. Support safe launch activities. Follow all quality, safety, and environmental policies established by the facility. Be able to perform basic measurement techniques on the Coordinate Measurement Machine. Cross train to be able to perform all other Quality Auditor and Receiving Inspection functions at Smithville. Other duties, projects, and assignments deemed appropriate by the Quality Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Read, Write, Basic Math)
  • Proven ability to get along well with others
  • Good Work History
  • Work well under pressure
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible to work any shift and required overtime
  • Must not have a written counsel in the last six months.
  • Must not have declined a position within the last 6 months.
  • Education: HS Graduate or Equivalent
  • Evaluation: This position requires an interview and mechanical evaluation
  • Able to walk multiple times the length of the facility
  • Able to stand for multiple hours per day
  • Able to bend, stoop, twist, and carry 30 lbs for short distances
  • Able to have overhead movement and lifting
  • Able to work in hot environments
  • Have no allergies to nuts
  • Successfully pass a drug screen and physical exams
  • Lifting: 50lbs.
  • Standing: 90%
  • Walking: 10%
