About The Position

The Quality Auditor – Level 1 provides foundational training in quality systems, inspection processes, and manufacturing operations within the plant. The auditor will begin with a general quality role to develop core skills while supporting testing, inspection, and documentation activities. During this time, the employee will gain exposure to multiple business units to develop a strong understanding of material flow, product requirements, and the plant’s overall quality system. This experience will help determine the best long-term placement within the Quality organization.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and basic math).
• Computer proficiency , including word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• High level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and support any department as required
• Resume required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing, including gasket compression testing in the Ammunition area
• Conduct incoming inspections for can component parts and other incoming materials.
• Learn and understand the flow of materials between business units
• Complete HFIs (Hold for Inspection reports) and other required quality documentation.
• Record inspection and test results accurately.
• Support compliance with plant quality standards and procedures.
• Participate in training to develop proficiency in quality inspection and testing methods.
• Assist with general quality tasks and other duties as assigned
