JOB SUMMARY: Material inspection Data colection Material disposition Quality escalation Material handling Material identification Support additional activities as needed Assure process audit as per Process Control Plan / Process Checklist prescribed plan Assure and release product inspection as per product check list Data colection for SPC requirements as needed Audit Set Up Check List verification / First Article Inspection Scrap Index monitoring Support 8D / RCA / ICA / PCA activities Support Quality Alert definition and distribution Quality escalation as discrepancies are identified Material identification Support additional activities as needed

Requirements

  • Elementary school
  • High school or Technical career (Desirable)
  • Two years of experience as Quality Operator (Desirable)
  • Experience as Quality Auditor or equivalent (Desirable)
  • English Basic or Intermediate (Desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Inspect material as indicated in the work instructions (Quality Alert or Check List) as per safety guidelines defined by operations.
  • Execute hourly inspection reports and complete in an accurate manner
  • Escalate in a timely and accurate manner any Quality incidents and reaction as per Process Control Plan/MOIs/Quality Alerts
  • Maintain inspection rate
  • Maintain correct identification of material (Accepted & Rejected material)
  • Maintain work place organization
  • Submit accurate daily reports
  • Segregate rejected material to proper Quarentine locations on a timely manner
  • Execute additional activities as required
  • Assure the correct process release according to the process check list
  • Data colection for SPC requirements as needed
  • Audit Set Up Check List verification / First Article Inspection
  • Quality escalation as discrepancies are identified
  • Support Quality Alert definition and distribution
  • Material identification
  • Monitor process line performance (KPIS - Safety, FTQ, Customer Complaints, Production Output, Scrap, etc.)
  • Support 8D / RCA / ICA / PCA activities
  • Support additional activities as needed
