Quality Auditor (Part-Time) - Genie Academy
About The Position
Genie Academy is central New Jersey's leading academic enrichment program -- 7 locations, 7,000+ students served, a 4.8-star Google rating across 800+ reviews, and an NPS of 69.7. We teach math, reading, and abacus in small groups of up to 6 students with certified coaches who actively teach -- no worksheets, no passive supervision. We've built something families trust. This role exists to make sure we keep it that way. As a Quality Auditor, you'll be our eyes and ears across all 7 branches -- visiting locations, observing live classes, walking facilities, and engaging with parents in real time. You'll catch gaps before they become complaints, coach coaches on the spot, and give Branch Managers the ground-level visibility that reports alone can't provide. This is a roving, part-time role that requires reliable travel across central New Jersey during peak class hours.
Requirements
- Background in education, training, or operations
- Comfortable delivering direct, constructive feedback face-to-face
- Strong observational skills -- you notice what others miss
- Reliable transportation to travel across central NJ locations
- Available weekday afternoons and/or weekends (peak class hours)
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in QA, instructional coaching, or multi-site/franchise operations
- Familiarity with education SOPs or structured classroom observation frameworks
Responsibilities
- Class Auditing Observe live sessions and verify coaches are teaching to Genie Academy's SOP Assess student engagement, lesson delivery, and classroom management
- Coaching & Feedback Debrief coaches directly after each observation with specific, actionable feedback Document gaps and follow-up action items for Branch Manager review
- Facility Checks Walk non-teaching checklists covering cleanliness, signage, supplies, and safety Flag anything off-standard and escalate as needed
- Parent Engagement Engage families in waiting areas to capture real-time feedback Identify and surface concerns before they escalate into complaints
