The Quality Auditor position at Amcor is an entry-level role responsible for ensuring product quality through product knowledge, training, and communication. Key responsibilities include monitoring product for defects, inspecting packaging for damage, and ensuring adherence to customer pack patterns. The role requires strict compliance with Amcor's safety and environmental policies, OSHA regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines, including wearing protective clothing and practicing good hygiene. Auditors must communicate and cooperate constructively with other employees, be prepared to work overtime when needed, and identify and report unsafe conditions. They are expected to respond effectively in emergency situations. The position also involves using and understanding multiple measuring devices, comparing product colors to standards, recording test data, identifying trends using Statistical Control Process (SPC), and following International Organization Standards (ISO) and Quality Management Systems. Auditors must adhere to the Quality Control Plan and make product conformity decisions based on bottle specifications and customer expectations, including auditing the ISO process. The role grants authority to stop work, place products on hold for quality issues, and print/reprint production labels.
