About The Position

The Quality Assurance and Training Specialist will be a subject matter expert within the assigned department and Symetra Best Practices and Process. The position will identify learning opportunities, provide timely quality feedback and resolve issues while setting expectations regarding process, service in/or performance guarantees.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent work experience, college degree a plus.
Professional certifications or designations appropriate and relevant for this role.
3-5 years of cumulative, relevant experience
Minimum Internet Speed:100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, in alignment with the FCC's definition of "broadband."
Internet Type:Fiber, Cable (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum), or DSL.
Not Permissible:Satellite (e.g., Starlink), cellular broadband (hotspot or otherwise), any other wireless technology, or wired dial-up.

Responsibilities

Quality analysis of the claims process for:
Accuracy with liability and financial decisions
Appropriate use of internal and external risk resources
Processing is performed timely and accurately
Adherence to legal and operational compliance requirements
Communication of results to individuals and management
Analyze results:
Assess skill gaps and make recommendations for solutions
Collaborate with peers and organizational partners to ensure consensus and consistency
Provide support and mentor individuals as needed
Participate in ad hoc audits, projects and initiatives as assigned
