The clinical auditor performs clinical and operational audits as a means of verifying accuracy of information and compliance to established policies, practices, and regulations. Responsible for quality review of care process from physician order, registration, chart documentation, charging, and billing to reimbursement. Has collaborative relationship with revenue integrity advisors for root cause analysis and education of departments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. Required
- Associate Degree Required
- 5 years direct patient care in a hospital setting required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor Degree Preferred Bachelors Degree/BSN preferred
- RN experience highly preferred; although technical skills and medical experience may substitute
