As a Quality Assurance Software Engineer Intern on the Genesys Cloud Product team, you will integrate with a highly skilled team to deliver new features in our product. You'll get the chance to participate in a high-energy development environment that ships great software while also maintaining a friendly, laid-back culture. On top of building strong technical and soft skills, Software Engineer Interns can expect great exposure to leaders across our Product business and, depending on where they live, have the flexibility to work in-office, fully virtual, or a hybrid of the two. One of the primary goals of our internship program is to find our next generation of long-term Genesys talent; 44% of last year's intern class remains working at Genesys part-time during the school year, and 70% of our eligible interns received offers to convert to full-time employees!

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • Interest in learning new technologies to integrate with current application stacks
  • Familiarity with Java, Cucumber, Jenkins, Selenium and Playwright
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with UI Development team members to help design, develop, and test features that meet the business needs of our customers and exhibit features that include high scalability, availability and reliability
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Perform collaborative code reviews with other developers
  • Understand & comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws
  • Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
  • Have Fun
