About The Position
As a Quality Assurance Technician at Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products. This position requires flexibility as you will be expected to work any of the three shifts: first from 7am to 3pm, second from 3pm to 11pm, or third from 11pm to 7pm. The initial training period will last for two weeks on each shift, allowing you to gain comprehensive knowledge of our operations and quality assurance processes. In this role, you will assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in overseeing the operations of the laboratory and the blending/batching personnel. Your responsibilities will include facilitating scheduling functions in both the Lab and Blending departments, conducting weekly micro plating and readings for various subject areas, and ensuring the integrity of all laboratory testing, product quality, and syrup batching. You will also conduct package quality inspections and quality audits to ensure that processes are effective, efficient, and compliant with industry standards. As the primary trainer for Quality Assurance and other departments regarding quality issues, you will be responsible for receiving and testing CO2 and all raw materials prior to the production process. Maintaining the highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination is essential, as is facilitating Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety programs. You will ensure that all concentrate, beverage bases, and High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) are ordered for production and that all laboratory supplies and personal protective equipment are adequate and available as needed. Additionally, you must understand all laboratory functions, water treatment processes, syrup room operations, and sanitation duties. Accurate and timely reporting is critical, and you will support management system efforts such as document control, audits, records, and continual improvement initiatives.
