We are looking for a meticulous QA Technician to join our Soup production plant! In this role, you'll be hands-on in monitoring the production process, testing products, and ensuring that everything meets our high standards of quality and safety. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or coursework in food science or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in quality assurance or quality control in a food or beverage production facility.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations.
  • Basic understanding of lab testing equipment and procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, weekends, or overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished soups.
  • Conduct quality tests, such as pH, Brix, and microbiological tests, to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Monitor production lines to ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
  • Record and analyze quality data, reporting any deviations from standards to the QA Coordinator or management.
  • Assist in the investigation of product quality issues and help implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lab and testing equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all quality control activities.
  • Work closely with production teams to identify potential quality risks and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Follow food safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
