About The Position

SUMMARY: Make sure products and processes align with defined quality standards and regulatory guidelines. Carry out inspections, audits, and testing procedures while working closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing improvement initiatives. Detect and address quality concerns, create and implement quality procedures, and maintain compliance. Conduct quality evaluations on incoming materials, in-process production, and final outgoing shipments.

Requirements

Prefer 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar job, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Detail-oriented
Must have basic math skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Must be able to handle up to 40 pounds (for less than 10 seconds) for machine loading.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using basic software like MS Office

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of ISO 9001 is preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for pulling samples from plant floor/warehouse, set up and perform multiple quality tests.
Assist in tracking Quality Complaints and Implement Corrective actions and follow-up.
Accurately compile data and construct charts and graphs based on testing results.
Assist with execution of quality system and product audits - incoming/outgoing and production.
Responsible for disposition of returned materials.
Maintain calibration of test machines as required.
General housekeeping of work area and surrounding area during and after shift.
Operate all lab test equipment and manage their maintenance.
Assist with conducting internal audits.
Work in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and processes.
Other duties as assigned
