Summary: The Quality Assurance Technician I supports AAON’s commitment to delivering high-quality HVAC products by performing inspections, tests, and audits throughout the manufacturing process. This entry-level role ensures that components and finished units meet internal and external standards. The technician works closely with production teams to identify defects and recommend corrective actions. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of quality principles are essential. Primary Duties The Quality Assurance Technician I is responsible for executing quality control procedures and supporting continuous improvement efforts across production lines. Duties include: Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: · Conducting inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. · Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate records in accordance with company standards. · Reporting non-conformances and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation. · Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes. · Using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters to verify product dimensions and performance. · Supporting internal audits and participating in quality training sessions. · Ensuring compliance with AAON’s quality management system and applicable industrystandards. · Promoting a culture of quality and accountability on the production floor.
