About The Position

Get hands-on in a dynamic laboratory role testing customer samples for routine analysis, product approvals, and real‑world troubleshooting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • 1–3 years of laboratory experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and basic use of SAP and SharePoint; Microsoft Access knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external customers.
  • Solid problem‑solving, mathematical, and analytical abilities.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to perform accurately in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
  • Strong organization and time‑management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively while meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in and around a chemical laboratory environment.
  • Professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward colleagues.
  • Ability to present ideas logically and contribute in a consensus‑based decision‑making environment.
  • Proactively seeks additional responsibilities and demonstrates sound judgment in laboratory situations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct QA laboratory operations including startup/shutdown procedures, sample testing, beaker blending, and basic QA/QC analyses following ASTM, JIS, and internal ILA methods.
  • Accurately enter, review, and manage test data, specifications, batches, and documentation while maintaining organized electronic records and databases.
  • Serve as a key liaison between customers, sales, and QA/QC teams by communicating test results, supporting troubleshooting, and addressing quality or application concerns.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and safety standards through preventative maintenance, basic calibrations, proper material disposal, PPE use, and housekeeping.
  • Support quality systems and compliance initiatives, including IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 audits, cross‑check testing, QC support, non‑hazardous shipments, and R&D requests.
