Quality Assurance Tech Control Position Summary: Work as a support function within the BOPP, PE Coater, and Air Pillow manufacturing processes. Occasionally assisting with Hot Melt and Acrylic coating. Responsible for monitoring and assuring that incoming materials, work in process (WIP) and finished goods (FG) conform to requirements and specifications. QA Tech will work directly with manufacturing floor personnel, other QA team members and various levels of management. Why Choose IPG? Responsibilities

Actively Participate in the Danville Plant Safety Program
Perform testing in a controlled lab environment and/or on the manufacturing floor ensuring the proper PPE and safety protocols are followed. (Referencing Safety Data Sheets [SDS] as needed.)
Testing, approving, and documenting test results for incoming raw materials, in-process materials and finished goods including but not limited to films, adhesives, PE tape, air pillows, hot melt and acrylic jumbos.
Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits and make recommendations as needed.
Evaluating and dispositioning non-conforming material and communicating the actions taken.
Generating, issuing, maintaining and updating paperwork and quality standards.
Perform daily manufacturing floor quality related audits.
Lead or participate in out-of-spec and failure investigations, recommending and/or implementing corrective actions and countermeasures.
Manage the evaluation and reporting of customer claims for air pillow and PE tape products.
Calibrating test equipment and maintaining appropriate records.
Inputting data and test results.
