About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you’ll be a key player in ensuring our fresh cut products meet the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your responsibilities will include: · Supporting and maintaining food safety and quality assurance systems · Monitoring production lines to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards · Conducting sanitation inspections and environmental/allergen swabbing · Accurately documenting and reporting quality data and findings · Communicating with production supervisors and managers to resolve product issues · Identifying and escalating non-conformances or deviations from standards · Verifying proper labeling, packaging, and product specifications · Assisting with internal audits and third-party inspections · Participating in root cause analysis and corrective action processes · Supporting training efforts for production staff on quality and food safety procedures · Maintaining calibration and verification records for QA equipment · Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce waste

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Reliable, accountable, and a team player

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
  • Background in quality assurance or regulatory compliance
  • HACCP, PCQI, or SQF certification (preferred)
  • Bilingual communication skills
