Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5-pm Pay will be $18-24 and is based on experience

Requirements

  • 2+ years Quality Assurance experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately in order to balance multiple demands and meet timelines as required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform SDI inspections on shipboard system components to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and work documents.
  • Verify material meets Newport News Shipbuilding and contract requirements
  • Document Inspection results accurately.
  • Maintain inspection records to support audits, certifications / calibration, and Navy acceptance.
  • Pick, pack, and stage material for delivery or shipment.
  • Verify quantities, Part #s, and condition of items before distribution.
  • Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
  • Coordinate with outbound staff to ensure on time delivery of orders.
