The Quality Assurance Technician will provide Quality Assurance support to ensure all products meet customer specifications and the site maintains compliance to the applicable standards.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Management Systems: Documentation Control: Ensures all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documents are up to date, controlled and available for use.
  • All external documentation is up to date, controlled and available for use.
  • Reviews and maintains record retention schedules; and participates in maintaining compliance to document and records management and systems.
  • Problem Solving: Manage and facilitate Return Material Authorization (RMA) requests from Customer.
  • Performs analysis of data to identify issues and determine root cause.
  • Analyses quality data to find areas for improvement and implement solutions to minimize nonconformities.
  • Initiate and lead Corrective and Preventive actions (CAPA) teams.
  • Report CAPA and RMA status to management through review meetings and Management Review.
  • QC Operational Management: Day to day management of the QC Operators developing a culture of success through Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership.
  • Liaises with Operations to plan QC activities and set priorities.
  • To ensure all inspection and analysis is conducted in accordance with IPC, JStd and company procedures.
  • Liaise with Operations and Engineering to ensure all QC equipment and environmental working conditions are maintained.
  • Ensure the QC team adhere and work to Health and Safety requirements.
  • Team Collaboration & Training: Work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and other departments on Quality initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance on Quality Management Systems Processes and the use of Q-Pulse platform.
  • Provide Quality representation on site projects.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
