The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that established quality standards and objectives are met or exceeded within their areas of quality responsibility. This role involves recording non-conformances in the QDD Database, reporting findings and First Time Yield (FTY) to manufacturing, and continually observing ways to streamline and improve processes using the Pursuit Production System. The technician will assist with compliance testing, inspections, and recommendations, work alongside manufacturing to reduce repeat warranty hits, and increase FTY. They will also review quality and warranty issues to determine root causes and present problems and countermeasures through the Corrective Action Request (CAR) system. The position requires completing system checks in various systems including AC/DC electrical equipment, drainage, fresh water, waste, fuel systems, and performance testing in pools or inshore environments.
