About The Position

As a Quality Assurance Technician I, you will support our quality control and quality assurance operations, working hands-on with products and processes that directly impact patient safety and customer confidence. You’ll partner with engineers on set-up and calibration tasks, perform inspections and rework, and use quality tools and systems to collect and evaluate data. If you’re detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to build your career in a regulated, mission-driven environment, this role is a strong starting point.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of quality control and quality assurance concepts in a production or operations environment.
  • Familiarity with measurement and test practices (e.g., inspections, calibrations, rework procedures).
  • Awareness of how quality data is used to assess process performance and product conformance.
  • Ability to work with engineers on set-up and calibration tasks for equipment, instruments, or processes.
  • Capable of following written procedures and quality assurance protocols related to production or operations.
  • Basic data skills—using software tools or programs to collect, enter, and evaluate data as part of quality checks.
  • Ability to assist in the development or refinement of methods and procedures for quality assurance and control (under guidance).
  • Comfortable conducting experiments with engineers, following instructions and accurately recording results.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and inspection activities.
  • Good communication skills to work within a team and ask clarifying questions when needed.
  • Detail-oriented and careful, with a strong focus on doing work correctly and consistently.
  • Willing to learn and take direction from more experienced technicians and engineers.
  • Reliable and responsible, following established procedures and meeting assigned deadlines.
  • Team-oriented, collaborating well with engineers and operations personnel.
  • Proactive in raising questions or concerns when something does not appear to meet quality expectations.
  • High School diploma (H.S./GED) or Associate Degree, depending on job family and role requirements.
  • 0 years of experience; entry-level candidates are welcome.

  • Exposure to regulated industries such as medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing.
  • Any prior experience in quality, manufacturing, lab work, or technical support is beneficial but not required.
