Requirements

Associate Degree preferred
2 to 5 years of training and experience
Customer requirements experience
Willingness to learn
Safety mindset

Nice To Haves

Quality Assurance experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist Quality Assurance Manager in all phases of department operations.
Supervise Quality Assurance employees during production, packaging, labeling, and shipping.
Train and audit employees on quality tests and procedures.
Advise production employees on quality matters and specifications.
Document out-of-specification product to be isolated and held.
Check quality equipment to assure proper performance.
Perform necessary miscellaneous chemical and microbiological sampling.
Perform sanitation inspections and follow-up.
Keep necessary records and maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
Perform and monitor customer sample requests and purchase product grading.
Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
May perform other duties as assigned.
