About The Position

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is a key leadership role within Nortek Data Center Cooling's Dyersburg, TN manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The supervisor will lead a team of Quality Technicians and Inspectors, collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and EHS to deliver reliable, high-performance data center cooling equipment that meets customer and industry requirements. Requirements

Previous experience in quality control or assurance, with leadership or supervisory experience.
Proficiency with quality measurement tools (gauges, calipers) and software programs for data analysis and reporting.
Strong problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting results across different levels of the organization.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is often preferred

Responsibilities

Train, coach, and manage inspectors, handling performance trends and scheduling.
Develop and enforce quality standards, procedures, and Work Instructions (SOPs)
Oversee testing of materials and finished products; perform internal audits, including in other plants.
Identify root causes for product failures, handle non-conforming materials, and track escaped product.
Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards (e.g., FDA, ISO, cGMP) and report key quality metrics to management.
Utilize data to drive improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
