The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for assigning jobs for inspectors in the accomplishment of inspections and requirements identified in the Performance work statement and standard set within the assigned work area. Principal Accountabilities (Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.) Assist aircraft maintenance with investigations and studies. Reviews QA database and inspection summary inputs for accuracy and content. Prepares monthly inspection schedule and balances daily workload to ensure all inspections are recorded and completed on time. Assists in trending analysis on Cat II major discrepancies and other high-carded items missed during the month. Establish procedures for inspectors to document completed inspections. Responsible for on the job training as required. Provide duties as a weight and balance technician as required by workload. Brief and debrief aircrews for FCF/OCF and in flight emergencies as required. Responsible for maintaining control and approval processes of all aircraft maintenance locally manufactured tools. In absence of QA Manager, the Supervisor performs duties of wing dropped object reporting, aircraft mishap, maintenance assist request and significant event reporting to CNATRA/DCMA with specified time. Performs other duties as assigned.
