Quality Assurance Specialist
About The Position
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure that products and services meet the established standards set by the company include maintaining strong overall quality control of products made by the company adhering to reliability, performance, and customer expectation. This is a growing industry manufacturing and distributing windows for both commercial and private sectors. FULL TIME, 40 hours per week, $16-$18 per hour, possible overtime Great opportunity to join a thriving industry Grow with a reputable company Set forth with a career, not just a job Position Summary A Quality Assurance Specalist is responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance Manager in Intermediate/Final Quality Reviews for products before being shipped; review/release packaging, labels, and raw materials; performing non-conformance investigations and corrective actions as needed; and conducting audits of standard procedures and as needed.
Requirements
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control experience required, minimum 1 year
- Capable of effective oral and written communication.
- Has the ability to learn and follow verbal instructions and written procedures with minimal oversight.
- Has a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to quality control, quality assurance, personal protective equipment, and safety protocols
- Review of paperwork and products as assigned for department review and release procedures
- Perform intermediate and final quality reviews for release of products for shipment
- Assist with review/release of packaging, labels, and raw materials
- Perform audits of standard procedures as needed and present them to the Quality Assurance Manager
- Provide support to the appropriate departments to assure that specifications and protocols are being met and updated
- Follow and assist with writing quality, procedural, regulatory, and safety procedures
- Must follow productions code of ethics and work without bias
