About The Position

You’ll be responsible to provides support to project director, OA/ CTS. Responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties, which require extreme discretion with government and management directives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 yrs related experience.
  • Must have knowledge of computers and various software programs, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of secretarial/ clerical duties.
  • Receive telephone calls and visitors
  • Maintain a calendar of events, schedules, appointments, make travel arrangements and take minutes of meetings.
  • Maintain central library of required documents, handbooks, directives and standard operating procedures.
  • Act as a liaison between director and staff, community contacts and the customer.
  • Evaluate and audit 100% of admissions folders to ensure required information is included, and accurate, before forwarding to appropriate Job Corps center for enrollment consideration.
  • Evaluate and audit 100% of placement folders to ensure all required information is included and placements are accurate prior to approving in the CTS System
  • Review and audit all admissions and placement files to ensure contractual compliance with DOL requirements, including case notes.
  • Maintain tracking logs for all admissions and placement files that are approved each month.
