About The Position

As a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Specialist/Inspector, one will work closely with our quality assurance professionals to support our team with administrative, compliance, and operational tasks. This role is an on-site position, ideal for someone who is comfortable with computers, communicating with team members and suppliers, and excellent attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, documenting processes, and presenting findings.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
  • Ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers.
  • Familiarity with document control processes and maintaining quality records.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to find, understand, and organize documents.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure compliance.
  • 4-year bachelor's degree.
  • Education may be waived based on experience with 2-year associate degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Persons.
  • Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information; having dual citizenship may preclude you from meeting this requirement.
  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Responsibilities

  • Receive Certification Packages from Suppliers
  • Ensure certification packages are accurate and complete.
  • Ability to communicate and question Suppliers regarding purchase requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Update Systems and Databases
  • Ensure systems are maintained and kept up to date on certification packages received.
  • Conduct compliance system audits to identify and address gaps.
  • Instruct employees regarding Quality procedures and requirements when working with material compliance, acceptance and production.
  • Develop and maintain records related to material compliance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned, such as production support/inspection of product.
