About The Position

Primo Brands is a leading branded beverage company in North America with a focus on healthy hydration. We are proud to offer an extensive and iconic portfolio of highly recognizable, sustainably sourced, and conveniently packaged branded beverages distributed across more than 150,000 retail outlets. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor (Quality Assurance Resource) in McBee, SC. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and offers a flexible Monday to Friday schedule.

Requirements

  • Prior QA experience (3-5 years) with beverage or other food products.
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biological sciences is preferred or an equivalent technical degree/work experience.
  • Microbiology Laboratory management experience.
  • Manufacturing line inspection experience.
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, HACCP, sanitation, and hygienic design.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Sound administrative and computer skills.
  • Self-directed and assertive with the ability to process information and provide effective follow-up on objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing, sampling and sanitation activities.
  • Set standards for plant hygiene / housekeeping - audit ready state.
  • Oversee the tracking, trending, and investigation of all factory consumer complaints.
  • Assist with supervision of QA technicians.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and leading initiatives for all quality and customer complaint issues within the plant.
  • Provide leadership within plant for company Quality initiatives and Quality audits.
  • Manage budgeting, purchasing and inventory of plant operating supplies such as filters, chemicals and lab supplies.
  • Monitor over fill and water usage reporting.
  • Provide development opportunities to direct reports through cross-training initiatives and setting clear objectives.
  • Confirm quality - routine audit of quality checks performed by Team Members.
  • Respond to on calls; manage hot spots for quick, efficient resolution.
  • Work to continuously improve and maintain internal audit programs (micro, hygiene walks, glass audits, pest audits, GMP walks, etc.).
  • Prepare, participate, and follow up on internal and external audits.
  • Lead the HACCP, Food Safety and Crisis Management Committees.
