About The Position

Quality Assurance Nurse is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for ADR submissions, QA review activities, and regulatory compliance for all levels of Hospice care in conjunction with the QA Director. The Quality Assurance Nurse (QARN) is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality assurance, performance improvement, and utilization review activities as requested by the VP of Organizational Performance/Chief Compliance Officer and the Director of Clinical Performance.

Requirements

• Must have previous healthcare and quality improvement experience.
• Experience in hospice, long-term care, and in in-patient units is preferred.
• Must have a BSN.
• Must have licensure from the governing body for nursing practice for the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and/or the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in hospice care.
