About The Position

The Quality Assurance Manager supports AHN's HIV/AIDS services by developing, implementing, and monitoring quality management (QM) and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. This role ensures compliance with Ryan White Program standards, grant requirements, and internal policies. The manager conducts monitoring, prepares reports, supports audits, assists with RFP/contract processes, and helps maintain program integrity. The position also provides member support related to service coordination and program navigation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.
  • Must pass State of Nevada background check and Medicare/Medicaid fraud screening.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive AHN vehicles.
  • Minimum two years' experience in healthcare, social services, or nonprofit programs.
  • At least one year of general office experience.
  • Two years' experience with databases and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to sit 6-8 hours/day, stand 3-6 hours/day, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct programmatic, fiscal, and universal monitoring of subrecipients for compliance with Ryan White National Monitoring Standards.
  • Recommend corrective actions and oversee follow‑up activities.
  • Develop and implement the program's quality management and performance evaluation plan.
  • Assist with audit preparation and ongoing compliance activities.
  • Support RFP and contract processes for HIV/AIDS services.
  • Update program policies and procedures as needed.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to local, state, and federal funders.
  • Maintain accurate data in databases, spreadsheets, and the AHN system.
  • Respond to calls, emails, and referrals within 48 hours.
  • Conduct member orientations, track appointments, and produce timely program reports.
  • Maintain knowledge of AHN services, Medicaid/Medicare, Nevada Check‑Up, and prescription assistance programs.
  • Handle PHI in full compliance with HIPAA.
  • Provide professional, compassionate support to members and staff.
  • Build and maintain relationships with providers, partners, and funders.
  • Assist eligibility coordinators with reminder and renewal reports.
  • Participate in staff and funder meetings and adapt to evolving program needs.
  • Assist with incoming calls, inquiries, and new member enrollments.
  • Maintain knowledge of community resources and support AHN administrative processes as needed.
  • Use Microsoft Office proficiently and develop working knowledge of Salesforce.
