Role Responsible for the ongoing review of all new consumer accounts and loans originated and processed within the credit union. The primary purpose of the review is to assure that approved underwriting guidelines are being used by all authorized lending personnel in the granting of consumer credit. Prepares the necessary reports noting exceptions to policy and originating branch/officer for review by management. Major Duties and Responsibilities 30% Manages the daily operations of the Quality Assurance department to include reviewing all new consumer accounts and loans. Review all documents to ensure accuracy, identify trends and ensure all documents have been uploaded to Fastdocs. 20% Serve as a coach and mentor to the team by providing direction, support, and encouragement. Empower team members to take ownership in job responsibilities and maintain focus on the credit union's mission, vision, and core values in goal achievement. Provide open ongoing communication to the team. Responsible for recruiting, performance management, adherence to policies, career development, recognition, employee engagement and retention. Knowledge of employment laws and practices. 20% Prepares the necessary reports noting exceptions to policy and originating branch/officer for review by management. 20% Responsible for working with all branch lending personnel in assuring that approved underwriting procedures are used for all consumer accounts and loans. 5% Comply with all company policies, procedures, and service standards. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations. 5% All other job responsibilities as assigned by management.
