About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality assurance team in delivering exceptional standards across all products and services. As the QA Manager, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance processes, ensuring our products and services consistently meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. This role requires strategic leadership and hands-on expertise to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Development, Apparel and Merchandising, Production Management or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Apparel and Shoes Quality Assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of QA tools, automated testing frameworks, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Expertise in data analysis, KPI development, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Strategy: Define and drive the quality assurance strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Lead and develop the QA team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the success of QA initiatives and monitor product quality
  • Lead Quality Assurance, Quality Management, Quality Inspections and Audit activities of global manufacturers.
  • Establish quality control expectations and remediation of any quality issues arising after product ship from the manufacturing vendor
  • Process Improvement: Design and implement efficient, scalable QA processes to improve product development, testing, and release cycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, production, operations) to embed quality practices across the organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement best practices and tools for continuous improvement in QA methodologies.
  • Design & establish new quality inspection methods and SOPs in the absence of standardized and existing methods for the warehouse and HQ
  • Testing / Quality Management: Oversee testing plans, test case management, and quality audits for products, ensuring they meet functional and performance standards.
  • Establish and monitor resolution processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Oversee material quality management and controls including fit, performance testing, chemical testing, and other textile/apparel controls.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for product quality issues.
  • Work with labs & overseas offices to create testing manuals and protocols.
  • Manage the care label requirements through proper product testing, and partner with Merchandising to ensure information matches.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards, including risk assessments and quality compliance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all QA processes and policies, ensuring regulatory readiness.
  • Manage third party audits and implement a surveillance testing strategy to assure ongoing material and chemical compliance.
  • Oversee that all TN suppliers and manufacturers comply with standards in areas of social compliance, sustainability, chemical compliance and others as required by TN and retailers.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Report regularly to executive leadership on quality metrics, initiatives, and the overall health of QA processes. Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Apparel Design, Production and other partners to ensure quality methods are fully supported and expectations are met.
