About The Position

Rohadfox Construction Control Management is looking for a Quality Manager who will serve as the overseer of the QMS program and its specific task order(s). Ideally, you will have previous experience working on transit/transportation construction projects. This position will be responsible for overseeing and assuring the CM/OR staff is properly enforcing the QMS for the construction project. This position will also facilitate processes for non-conformance by contractors and CM/OR staff when applicable. The ideal Candidate will live within commuting distance of the Chicago, IL area.

Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in quality assurance management.
• Knowledge of Safety Plans, and QA/QC Plans and Project Procedures Manual
• Effective oral and written skills for client presentations and technical reporting and correspondence.
• Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of project team, client, and others.
• Knowledge of contract negotiation and administration.

Nice To Haves

• A degree is civil Engineering or related field
• Experience with the FTA Quality Management System Guidelines
• Certifications such as CQM, CCQM, CCM or Quality in Construction
• Some knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheets, documents and database software (such as PMWeb, P6, Excel, Word, Access etc.)
• NICET Certificate

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and assuring the CM/OR staff is properly enforcing the QMS for the construction project.
• Facilitate processes for non-conformance by contractors and CM/OR staff when applicable.
• Other project-related duties as assigned by the Deputy Director - CMSS.
