About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team located in Cambridge, Ohio . This position will manage a group of quality assurance engineers and technicians and will be responsible for ensuring company compliance for ISO 9001 and all other quality policies and procedures. Direct the functions, development, and implementation of quality assurance programs. Provide analysis that supports key business decisions. Develop and train members of the quality assurance team. Implement and maintain quality standards to meet customer needs . Conduct and maintain quality assurance audit results and statistics. Collaborate with quality personnel to address issues and perform root cause analysis. Manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results. Oversee projects while engaging with various members of the organization and customers. Willingness to travel 10% to 20%.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a management role preferably in the quality/manufacturing industry
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001 and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Strong mathematical background required to compile statistical data
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
