The Quality Assurance Manager establishes, implements, and maintains quality assurance processes throughout the software development life cycle. Requirements

  • Approximately eight (8) years of experience in quality assurance, software development oversight, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing quality control processes across development lifecycles.
  • Supervisory experience overseeing support staff.
  • Experience conducting structured quality reviews and audits.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple quality initiatives concurrently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain processes for evaluating software and associated documentation.
  • Determine and allocate resources required to support quality control activities.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Conduct formal and informal quality reviews at designated phases of development.
  • Identify quality risks and implement corrective or preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, contractual, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide daily supervision and direction to quality assurance support staff.
  • Coordinate with project management and technical teams to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Monitor adherence to established quality methodologies and procedures.
  • Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders.
