About The Position

The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee the quality assurance processes in an injection molding manufacturing environment, ensuring that all products meet high standards of quality and compliance. This role involves leading the QA team, implementing quality systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within the injection molding or plastics manufacturing industry.
• A Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes, materials, and quality systems (ISO 9001:2015 or other similar systems).
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing QA teams.
• Expertise in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Oversee product inspections, testing, and audits to meet internal and customer-specific requirements.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective action processes to resolve quality issues.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify and mitigate risks.
• Manage and train the QA team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant certifications and standards.
• Work with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
• Develop, monitor and report on key quality metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
