About The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced (1st Shift) Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Bridgeview, IL. Responsibilities Ensure FAI, in process, and final inspections meet internal and external specs. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively. Document nonconformities and support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Help prepare for and participate in audits-including calibration (internal, customer, third party). Lead daily inspection activities on the production floor; coordinate a team of inspectors. Help maintain inspection procedures, calibration procedures, checklists, and work instructions. Train and mentor QC and production to uphold quality standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in manufacturing quality inspection, preferably with a minimum of 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometer, height gauges, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with First Article Inspection (FAI), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action (CAPA) processes.

  • CMM (PC-DMIS) programming/operating skills
