About The Position
HCSS, a 16-time "Best Company to Work For in Texas" software company in Sugar Land is searching for a Quality Assurance Intern to join our Development Team! This is a PAID internship where you will gain in-depth skills in our tech stack that will take you further to success. You will make an impact by contributing to our product teams to deliver high-quality software applications to our customers. Here's what we're looking for in one of our openings: You're currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and able to commute to our office during your internship. You're detail-oriented, a problem solver, and a logical thinker. What will you be doing? You will be testing new features and fixes on your assigned HCSS product Help identify and implement process improvements Contribute to the release process, ensuring high quality code is delivered to customers Mentored and work evaluated by the team's Quality Assurance Lead Pair testing, requirements gathering, and self-learning over new products and technologies Work closely with Software Developers, Product Managers, and Support Technicians Nice to Have: Currently in a University Program, preferably a technology related major Experience testing or debugging software products Passion for technology and learning new things Here's what to expect: This internship is semester-based and we'll work around your school schedule. For the Summer Break, you can work up to 40 hours a week. During the Fall/Spring semesters, you can work up to 25 hours a week. Training and mentoring will be provided and you'll receive feedback on your performance regularly. You'll have numerous opportunities to continuously grow your knowledge base.
